The 1, 2, 3 of making your Vision a Reality

It’s a new year and a new start so – how clear are you on your vision for Love? When it comes to attracting love, you want to be really clear about what you want. Otherwise, it’s like going into a pizza shop and just tell them you want some food, you’re probably going to get a piece that you don’t like very much.

I’m guessing you’d love to be really specific about what you want when we’re talking about you attracting your life partner!

Being specific doesn’t mean being prescriptive about what they look like, what kind of car they drive or job they have. It’s more about the energies, qualities and values that you want in a partner. Also the lifestyle choices!

One of the most powerful ways to get your vision in front of you is through a Vision Board. A vision board is basically a piece of cardboard with images and words on it on about what you want to attract into your life.

Today let’s focus on how to supercharge your vision. What is supercharging your vision?

There are few ways to do this – and one way is to look at it regularly and engage with it. Feel the feelings, in your body, of how having that vision manifest into your life will help you feel. I’m guessing you might feel connected, lit up, on track, full of love! What else comes to mind?

For some people though,  for example, those who suffer from object impermanence – it will be very difficult to remember to look at the vision, or your Vision Board regularly. This is because for these people when it’s not in your line of vision, you forget that it’s there. This happens for me sometimes. Which makes it quite tricky to put things away as I’m scared I’m not going to see them and remember they are there! However, I try to remember that making it in the first place energetically sets the wheels in motion.

At an unconscious level, your higher self and the Universe knows what you put on that board. You can also create some sort of ritual or blessing, and just ask that you can be connected to it regularly even if you’re not doing it consciously - that will go a long way. Simply lighting a candle and making this request is enough.

It’s also really important to not get set in stone about what things have to look like, or how long it’s going to take to manifest into your world. You also need to be careful of what you pray for, as you just might get it!

I wanted a very natural man and when I met my husband Yasu I ended up realizing he is quite an extreme minimalist. Haha that’s a natural man alright but it’s not always convenient! I would not change it as I am so blessed to have such a special human as my life partner, but make sure you be clear and specific!

Some people tell me that vision boards don’t work for them because whatever they put on their didn’t come to pass. Then, we chat and it did come to pass, just not in the way that they were expecting it to. I have heard detailed stories of why this is true, I just find it so interesting!

Here are three steps that really catapult your vision towards becoming a reality.

1.          Clear your energy field before you create your list, vision or Vision Board. Doing some quite deep and consistent inner work changes your vibration so much that you can much more easily become an energetic match for what you want and thereby attract it much more easily. I heard of someone today that calls vision boards vibration boards! I totally love that as you 100%, absolutely are raising your vibration by making one!

Just because I said clearing your energy requires deep and consistent inner work does not mean it necessarily needs to ab arduous! There are most definitely ways to make your inner work fun and easy.

2.          When people have amazing results are similar to what you’re looking for – make sure that you celebrate with them. Even from afar.

Especially if you have any niggling feelings of lack or envy. These feelings can sound like - “that’s not fair! Why do these things never happened to me!? This is a really beautiful indication to shift your focus and notice how close that person is to you – even if they’re just a stranger on the Internet. The fact that information about their win has come your way means that you can totally bask in their reflected glory. 3.          After you’ve made your vision board or even if it’s a digital VB or list, before you put it on your wall, or under your pillow or somewhere equally special, put your hands up in front of you and send it some of your energy. It’s a little bit like Star Wars ‘May the Force be with you’!

In many countries, they have a word for this this energy we can be, have, feel, and send – Chi, Prana, Mana, or Ki in Japanese, it’s our universal life force energy. I trained in martial arts for many years, the art of Aikido so I have been blessed to lean, feel and understand a lot about the strength of this energy. To tap into that innate magic you possess, end your Ki to your vision board in this way, it can be done regularly if you remember or just when you first put up the board.

This imbibes your intentions as you connect your higher self and the spiritual world with what you want manifest on this planet at this time.
